In March of 2020, the Colorado State Legislature passed the Frances Xavier Cabrini Bill 20-1-31 into law, establishing Frances Xavier Cabrini Day as a Colorado State Holiday. Cabrini Day is the first paid state holiday in the nation that recognizes a woman. It is observed in Colorado annually on the first Monday in October. We hope you will join us as we honor our saint

Sunday, October 5
Mass at 8 a.m., followed by coffee and donuts
Mass at 11 a.m. followed by the Cabrini Day Celebration of Nations
Mass at 2 p.m. (Spanish) followed by the Cabrini Day Celebration of Nations

Adoration at 5 p.m. Music, Prayer and Readings from the writings of Mother Cabrini. As we continue to celebrate this Jubilee Year of Hope, the opportunity to receive the sacrament of confession and plenary indulgence will also be available.

Our first annual Cabrini Day Celebration of Nations will be held on Sunday, October 5th, 2025 from 12:30pm until 4:00pm at the picnic pavilion at the Shrine. Anyone is welcome to host a table and represent the country of their heritage, sharing food, pictures, country information and more. Register for the Cabrini Day Festival of Nations here in English or Spanish.
